Jeporeka, search in Guarani, is the word that defines the essence of the project, which is a meeting of young composers selected by competition to write songs together. The first year 10 new micro-pieces were written, grouped in a collective work called "Pytũ Mimbi" (Glow in the dark), a collective musical work inspired by reflection and feeling in these times of pandemic. In the second year, 10 new songs were created, using Paraguayan artists' artwork and handicrafts as inspiration. In the third edition we received the visit of the maestro Jorge Fandermole, Argentine composer, who spent a day working on the song with those attending the meeting. At the same time, Jeporeka generates spaces for debate on Paraguayan musical identity, through a Cycle of Conferences in each edition. Jeporeka produced 17 conferences in 3 years.
